Harrison's Hope is named after the founders son Harrison St. George, who was born in 2003 with Congestive Heart Failure. He underwent open heart surgery at 3 days old and almost lost his life. His parents felt that through this trial and crisis, they learned a deep understanding of the word "hope", and that it comes in many forms. Whether "hope" is for comfort physically, spiritually, emotionally, or for healing, this experience gave Jason and Jackie a passion and drive for sharing that hope with those struggling with a life-limiting illness. Today, Harrison's heart problems are corrected, and he is a healthy and happy young boy.
