To all the kind folks at Harrison's Hope:
A note to thank you for all the wonderful care you gave my dad and also my mom. The nurses, social workers, bath aids, and chaplains were the best we could have ever had. A special thanks to Gene and Jaci Turner (Chaplains) for helping to gently usher my daddy to Heaven where he is now and forever will be with Jesus!
Dear Jackie Johnson,
I know we only had a few short days to work with you and your people but, in that time, you provided us with a tremendous amount of relief during a very pressure packed period. It provided us with the opportunity to just be with my wife without having to worry about all the medical things. A person does not know how that helps until we go through it. Special thanks to you and Julie and Laura, Tammy, Megan, and Jaci Turner. You were all so helpful and gracious and my wife was very comfortable with you all. Her passing is difficult to deal with but it would have been miserable without your help and concern. God Bless you with your work.
Dear Harrison's Hope staff,
Thank you for the wonderful care you took of our son. From the friendly works of Gene the chaplain to the skills of the nurses and the patience of the late night visits when he was so ill. Not only did you touch his heart you touched ours as well. We are a very grateful family for hospice.
Dearest Jackie,
Thank you so much for coming out the other day to meet with my friend and myself. I have to admit when I saw you guys at the door that afternoon I wanted to scream NO, Go Away! Then after I took my head out of the sand and really got to see you and Julie and Jason in action I started to listen. I watched you interact with my friend better than her own family, better than most people who have met her. The gigantic iceberg of fear started to melt away. Talking to you all, laughing with you, put me at a total ease. The follow up talk with you was wonderful and the cares of the nurses and CNA's blew me away. I thought "My lord please let me tell anyone I run into about your company so others may feel and experience this kind of peace and confidence in care, and support through loving laughter." I appreciate all of you and the care you provide.
